Default Shorty VS Long tubes

deciding whether to keep my long tubes or not..
will i notice a decrease in power if i put aftermarket shorty headers?
hate the sound of my bbk long tubes.

wondering what your guys' thoughts are.

I doubt you are going to notice any difference in "seat of the pants" feel.

BBK anything is usually a bad choice regardless of what it is IMO, shorty headers will allow you to lower your car to a decent height as well without scraping

Clearance isn't something I'm worried about, I'm more worried about losing power from long tubes down to shorty headers. Hate the sound of these bbk long tubes.

My BBK long tubes made the car more quiet vs shorties of the same primary tube diameter. What mid pipe are you running?

IMO I think you should keep the longtubes, I like the sound, shorties are louder but not as rich sounding.

Lol, LT's the only real Bolt on that makes a difference. Shortys only increase power by 4rwhp over stocks. Lt are good for 14-20ish depending on set up
