Default Blemishes

Looking at a car that looks like it has some sorta over spray on just a 6"x6" in spot on the rear quater, and a little on the rim, looks like water spots, wont come off with just your finger and pretty sure it is just on the surface, Is there a good product to use by hand, would like to see if I can remove it before purchase, Thanks

Go pick up some Meguiars Ultimate Compound from your local autoparts vendor. Apply a few pea sized drops to a foam or microfiber applicator pad and work it into the area. Wipe residue away with a clean microfiber towel. Inspect. Repeat if necessary to remove any remaining mineral deposits.

If you don't feel like buying any products then I would suggest trying water and vinegar. Fill a spray bottle with equal parts water (distilled) and white vinegar, spray the effected area with the solution and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to allow the mild acids of the vinegar to break down the hard mineral deposits. Wash and dry the area you just worked on. Keep in mind you may still be left with some "rings" which would benefit from a light polish to fully remove.
