Car: 68 Coupe 289

Just bought it recently (month ago), It runs not to bad, I've changed plugs and wires but not much else.

Have a few issues with electrical (turn signals and a few other lights).

Going to drive it around on nice days for the rest of the summer, then put it in the garage and start taking it apart.

The only sheetmetal I haven't had to cut on the Mustang is the roof - most all sheetmetal replaced. The Gran Torino needs quarters...I'm still looking!

I don't know if it can technically be called a car at this point, as it hasn't any front brakes, interior, glass, gas tank or working doors, but I have a numbers-matching 1966 Mustang 289 HiPo with the 4-Speed manual which I'm desperately trying to restore. The engine's all done already though, albeit it's out of the vehicle at the moment.

Might as well pipe in! Along with you ^^^ I too just bought a Comet - only a 'done' 1966 Comet Capri. No extensive modding plans - install an Autosound am/fm radio to replace the annoying am only stock radio, replace the (eech!) - glasspacks with something a litle mellower, and some better rims.....magnum 500s or TT2's?

The rest remains as is!

1968 Fastback - Vintage track car/Shelby clone/work in progress

The car is Bullit Green, built 302, top loader 4 speed, 4 wheel disc brakes, 9". Had a great test run in it last week, skinned the tires off it a few times. Should be together for the summer.

Sorry for the gigantic picture, no idea how to re-size it.
