Actually, the vey first Ford Mustang was sold to a airline pilot from St. Johns Newfoundland, he refused to sell the car back to Ford, but ended up swapping his Mustang straight across when Ford offered him a new Mustang(a 67 I beleive.) The "very first" Mustang sold has been in the Ford museum in Michigan for some time, still wearing it`s Newfoundland license plates.

McFairmont - I believe the airline pilot got the first production-line Mustang produced, serial #100001. Not the first SOLD as the lady in the news story claims.
