Thanks

A side step on the carb. My builder says I ordered the wrong one, so one goes back, and he is going to custom prep and set up a carb based on the engine.

Diamond forged pistons are ordered. Still a few weeks out, though

Engine is progressing.

News on the suspension front. I'm looking at using the street or track coilover shock, and ditching the stock cut coils.

The front suspension and shock is a little softer than the rear, plus the coilover gives me more tire clearance for the backside of the wider front tires.

I think the shock is more user friendly and serviceable than the TCP version.

That looks interesting, I don't know much about their system.

Since I already have some components, it as simple for me to upgrade the front suspension a little further. Shaun is a vintage racing expert and driver, so really engineers his stuff to be simple, cost effective, and perform well on the track.

Some pics of the install;

It looks like a well made system. How adjustable is the system for caster/camber?

Some engine assembly pics;

Looks like the mustang club is not having track day this year. I joined another club, but I am not sure how that is going to work.

Its got a camber adjusting bolt on the spindal, and the strut has slotted holes. Caster is adjustable at the top like a caster/camber plate on a foxbody mustang. We also got adjustable strut rods to fron global west incase be need more adjustment. Engine looks good! Who did the balancing and assembly.

Brent at B2 in the 'states is doing it. I don't know the shop that does his balancing.
The Windsor block he has in the background there, just got dynoed at 651hp!
Mine won't be that much though.

It's done near Brent's shop. I believe he has booked this weekend for mine and a couple engines

Check it out;

BTW when I did the video, I didn't realize the mufflers were set on quiet mode. It sounds a little bit like hell unleashed when I don't.

Still testing and tuning. Hoping to have the carb jetted in the next few days.

I did a little more jetting on the carb yesterday and a little work on the timing.

Going to order one step lower on the power valve, to see if I can smooth out the lower rpm response a little more.

Exhaust in unrestricted mode this time (so a little -LOT-noisier than the first video)
