You need to give specifics as they are all different.

Put a tuner in it and retard the timing.

He's been through that part already I believe. I think this issue was first posted when he joined the sight if I remember correctly. Might be something goofy in the motor when it was built, I have seen stock motors that for one reason or another need 94 octane to keep them from detonating. Who knows why, could be a bur in a combustion chamber, a lean hole, or even just cam timing that when assembled at the factory was on the far side of advance.

I inspected all the plugs, they are very white, but I do know the newer vehicles run much leaner from the factory, I do have a diablo tuner for it, it's something in the tune, I tried the 94 octane tune, and it rattled like mad, the 87 tune it runes pretty good with just a little det. on warmer days it runs well, just really concerned about damage, it is very sensitive and temperature related, should I just start with one degree on the global spark

yes, pull 2 degree's from global and see what happens. Check the fuel trims and see whats going on with them as well. Any cold air intake or anything on it?

Monitor fuel trims, see what shrt and long are. The long tubes could be fucking with it in that it may be losing track of which cylinder is firing at the O2 sensor.

Just an update Still baffled, runs good on chev. 94 and no ignition retard, so I swap to 87 and 2 degrees retard and runs the same as no retard, I will try a few more things, this is just annoying
