Default HELP !! Lost power while car running

I was near home after car was running in trafic for atleast twenty minutes. Went to put the top down, it got half way down and stopped. The guages lost power and it ran rough, then stalled out altogether. Try jumping it and it will idle while connected to the jumper, as soon as the jumper is turned off it stalls after running rough.

What's wrong with it? Please say battery.

Metrotown to KeyWest would be close and may have a better
chance with no accessories running. I think you'll need a batt and alt.

depending on how long the alternators been having issues for u may need a new battery, i had a fried alternator in my old dsm for 2 weeks and just charged the battery and it would drive 15 mins to work but that was about the max before it would start sputtering and wanted to die, so who knows about a newer car liek yours

Barely made it to Brown Brothers, the charge indicator was diving for the deck by Super Store, lost the gauges waiting on the light to turn at Main and the car died just as I pulled into a parking spot - leaving my window down.

The battery is a year and a half old, I will keep an eye on it and start looking for the receipt.
